The National Wine Centre of Australia (NWC) is one of Adelaide’s leading hospitality venues situated in the vibrant East End of the CBD. Our unique architectural building is surrounded by the green space of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and parklands. The venue plays host to over 50,000 international, national and local visitors per year, in addition to hosting over 800 events.
The NWC is a showcase and focal point for Australia’s wine industry and as such, it has become a beloved landmark for food and wine lovers across the country who have engaged in the range of wine tourism and event experiences on offer.
The opportunity exists for an experienced professional to collaborate with a dedicated team to assist in the planning and execution of digital and integrated marketing programs in the tourism, events and retail markets. This role may be offered as either full-time or part-time, based on the candidate's preferences and suitability.
This role, reporting to the Business Development and Marketing Manager will be responsible for the management of the NWC website, including regular updates to content design, and development of all NWC graphics and adverting creative.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the NWC’s Wine Relations Executive to manage NWC social media accounts and create story lines and content. This role will also work collaboratively with the Marketing Team to implement digital and social media marketing campaigns.
The role requires candidates to have a strong marketing and graphic design background demonstrating the following attributes, skills and capabilities:
- Advanced skills in Adobe, Microsoft and graphic design
- Skills in website management, SEO, SEM and social media
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Work well under pressure
- Have initiative and be self-motivated
- Present a corporate image
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or Graphic Design are an advantage
