Meet the Maker - Anniversary Edition

Join us for a bumper edition of Meet the Maker, expanding for a special anniversary edition celebrating the National Wine Centre's 25th birthday and highlighting some of the prestigious Adelaide University Alumni Winemakers from the last 25 years. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon as you meet the people behind the wine. Join us for free tastings, complimentary canapés and live music. This event offers a rare opportunity to chat with the winemakers and enjoy their wines up close in an intimate setting.

Cellar Masterclass featuring Langtons Classification of Australian Wine

This intimate masterclass takes a deep dive into the Langtons Classification guide, a collection featuring the best of Australian winemaking practices, vineyard provenance and regional voice.
Held in the National Wine Centre’s newly renovated open-air cellar - the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere and home to a celebration of Australian wine heritage - our expect Sommeliers will guide guests through the depth, diversity and prestige that is represented in the Langtons Classification guide of Australia's finest and most luxurious wines.
This is a unique opportunity to sample exceptional and distinguished wines, a must for enthusiastic wine collectors.

Score a seat at an exclusive table at the National Wine Centre, celebrating the acclaimed wines of Yangarra Estate Vineyard and honouring late winemaker Peter Fraser.
An Adelaide University graduate and global leader in grenache and shiraz, Peter Fraser was recognised by international wine publications including Drinks Business Top 100 Global Winemakers 2025. Sommeliers will guide guests through Yangarra Estate’s signature wines, revealing the meticulous care, innovative techniques and expressive purity that defined Peter’s biodynamic and organic winemaking philosophy.
The vineyard’s Southern Rhône varieties will be paired with a stunning four-course meal, complemented by a visit to the largest open-air cellar in the southern hemisphere. This is an unmissable event for food and wine lovers seeking an inspiring insight into the craft, passion and philosophy behind a leading South Australian winery.
